History of Tournament

Stand In The Gap Charity (SITGC) was founded in early 2016 by FedEx Pilot Paul Hisky to address two of his passions:  charity service and golf.  A veteran of numerous service projects and mission trips, Paul invited six of his Christian friends with the same heart for charity to join his team.  After a period of brainstorming, the team developed their vision from Ezekiel 22:30:  “I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land…”  In stead of the wall, Paul and his team substituted “bridge of hope”… to be a bridge across the expanse between struggling charities and resources/awareness.

Since it’s inception, SITGC has raised and donated over $170,000 to its two sponsored international children homes; Rio Bravo Ministries in Mexico and La Limye Ministries in Haiti.  Paul, along with his staff and dedicated team, are volunteers allowing for all proceeds to go directly to benefiting the children.
